I was at that gig dan, he played two or three new battlezone songs whome should be on the third battlezone album though they were recorded, it was never released. I remember one song which he played and sounded killer : Drawned Under was the songitle.

Now I'm even MORE interested Cro-mag. So Paul had a few songs that he recorded but never released? i've gotta get that audio of the gig. I never knew anything about this. Does anyone else know anything about these songs?

short story : Paul came back to Belgium after years in september/october '89 as a special guest for the release party of the first mistery album (mistery was a band formed by Peter De Windt who played in the eighties in bands as Crossfire and Ostrogoth -albums released by Mausoleum Records -). He sang two songs. I think it was running free and we will rock you (you can hear these songs on the south american assault cd, but they were first brought in Belgium by Peter and Paul). Battlezone had no record company at that time so they had a demo with a copple of songs on it. Axel -rip- who was a ultra big di'anno fan, had got this demo. Paul always has been very genirious to his fans. I still have some pics of that period, but no recordings. I don't know what happend to axel's record collection after his dead. Some records -like the original soundhouse tapes - were so rare that he kept them in a vault !! He had the gogmagog record twice (white pressing and official release with cover) ! But he never traded. I even think -it's so long ago - that "drawned under" was recorded for a various artist album, which never was released. I know this makes it all more mysterious. I talked to Lea Heart, Paul's manager, about this time but the bloke wasn't his manager at that time, so he don't know much about it. Didier De man, who was also involved with the di'anno gigs at that time maybe has got these recordings. I will ask him when I'll meet him. Though I don't see him often 'cause he doesn't do anything anymore.

New Kids on the Block is my favourite band of 90s. They had so many hit songs! The ones I remember are 'Tonight', 'Baby, I Believe In You' and, of course their hit 'Step By Step'. These are real masterpieces, not fake like today! And it is sooo good they have a tour in 2019! And I'm going to visit their concert in 2019.
